<p><b>Q: </b>Has there ever been a 29 year old diagnosed with prostate cancer? I&#8217;m 29 with an enlarged prostate.?<br />Last year I was diagnosed with an enlarged prostate (by rectal exam). I then lost my insurance and went a year without it (insurance). I recently started being seen by a doctor again and during my long overdue followup it was found that my prostate is even more enlarged now (but she said no lumps were felt). She is sending me to urology. She seemed very shocked about this and so am I. My dad was treated for prostate cancer a while back so it is in the family. My PSA last year was 0.4 and I haven&#8217;t gotten the results from the one done today yet but my doctor cautioned that PSA results tend to not be very accurate in men under 40. I am really worried. Are my concerns without merit? Any professional opinions are greatly appreciated. I sincerely thank you for your time.<br />
A little bit of my medical history. I do have extensive urinary problems such as dribbling and hesitation. Have had these for years. I also have type 2 diabetes, NASH liver disease, spinal stenosis, spinal arthrosis, desicated disc, thecal sac impingement, and more back issues.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Hi Mark, Man alive! Do you ever have a handful of troubles! Your back sounds a LOT like mine and I&#8217;m 67! I have been treated for prostate cancer and was hoping I could find something specific for you but couldn&#8217;t. I guess you already know that your PSA score was great even if unreliable due to your age. Try not to stress too much over this, yeah, I know -easy for me to say -, but it really IS probably a benign enlarged prostate (I&#8217;ve been seeing a urologist for 5 years now and I ain&#8217;t EVEN going to try and spell the medical term for it). So, in sum? I think your concerns have merit but not enough to stress over as long as you are able to continue seeing a doctor and get a biopsy done by the urologist to absolutely rule out cancer. That is, of course, if he/she feels it&#8217;s warranted &#8211; I try super hard to never be my own doctor or tell other people what their doctor should be doing.<br />
The good news is, an enlarged prostate is very treatable and I hope, for your comfort, the doc gets right on it. I had serious complications with my cancer treatments and now have a permanent catheter and collection bag so I know somewhat of the hell you are going through with the urination problems. Good night Mark. I&#8217;ll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>39 years old with prostate???????<br />I just turned 39 and go for prostate biopsy in 2 weeks. My urologist told me I have a &#8220;grossly&#8221; enlarged prostate, over 80 grams, however, I have only minor symptoms. How common is it that men under 40 have prostate problems?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>It is not that common for men under 40 or around 40 to already have prostate issues:but it can happen<br />
I guess you had several blood tests done before you urologist decide to take a biopsy.<br />
Take care<br />

<p><b>Q: </b>Can you diagnos lymphoma from an ultrasound?<br />Recently during a yearly physical my doctor found a lump in my left breast. 2 months before that I have found a few enlarged lymph glands under my arm. My doctor at that time did a CBC, mono check, and strep test all fine, then gave me an antibiotic which did not get rid of the lymph glands. Back to my physical, besides the lump in the breast, I had lost 10 lbs since my last apt 2 months prior, and still had the lymph nodes plus several more now under both armpits. He sent me over for an immediate mammogram and ultrasound. Both confirmed the lump in breast was an enlarged gland. The ultrasound also showed 8-12 enlarged lymph glands under both arms, ranging from .8 cm up to 3/4 of an inch. The radiologist said the lymph nodes appeared normal shape, with white center and black ring around them so he was not concerned and said the dr needs to figure out other reason for weight loss. Forgot to mention I also had large gland in neck and groin all on same side when I first went to doctor. He has also checked my thyroid as well. I am wondering if the ultrasound can rule out lymphoma. My grandfather died at age 40 from Hodgkin&#8217;s lymphoma and his son (my uncle) also passed away from lymphoma. I want to make sure that this is not over looked when I go to the doctor. So if I need further tests to rule out lymphoma please let me know so that I can be persistent with my doctor. My family also has a MSH6 gene mutation that results in early onset of invasive colon, breast, ovarian, pancreatic, prostate (in men), and uterine cancers. I am way over due for my colonoscopy and have also experienced severe constipation, to the point that I have to take as many laxatives as I would for a colonoscopy prep every 7-10 just to have a bowel movement. So if the lymphoma is ruled out I will pursue a quick colonoscopy just in case the constipation is caused from colon cancer. Either way I need to figure out the weight loss. I am small to begin with at 5&#8242;4&#8243; 115 lbs and am now weighing 101, which is 14 lbs in 12 weeks and I am starting to feel exhausted, my joints are achy, and my muscles constantly feel sore like I have worked out the day before. So if anyone has any info and questions that I should ask the doctor or any tests that need ran, or if the ultrasound we enough to rule out lymphoma; please let me know. Thanks<br />
Sorry so long!</p>
<p><b>A: </b>It cant rule out lymphoma, but it can be a strong indicator of it. The only way to be 100% sure is to have it biopsied to check for malignancy.Obviously your doctor wasnt overaly concerned or he would have ordered one. Most of the lymph nodes are not that big. Lymphoma ridden nodes are ussualy an inch or more. And tend to be found in the neck area in most cases.</p>
<p>Sorry to hear about your grandfather. Sadly he lived in a time when lymphoma surival rates were not very good. Today, about 9 out 10 hodgkin lymphoma patients are cure. And about 8 out 10 nhl lymphoma patients are cured. I have a family member who is a oncologist who specializes in lympphoma, and my college roomate had it as well, so I know my fair share about it.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Need insight on lab results?<br />My biggest concern is lymphoma. I am being seen by my primary, and endocrinologist due to a thyroid nodule, and a neurologist. I’m trying to educate myself to help find answers. I&#8217;ve tried researching elevated B12 and the only things I could find said either Hepatitis or some cancers. My Hep tests (and liver enzymes) are negative/normal ranges. These labs were ordered by my neurologist because I currently have an Idiopathic Autonomic Nervous System Disorder due to sensory loss in feet and ankles according to him. (I won&#8217;t see him till after first of year) Other symptoms are low BP; bad itchy skin &#8211; lower legs, behind knees, perimeter of armpits year round, rest of torso in winter months, loss of appetite, fatigue, pain beneath/behind collarbones (for @ 6 months). Also have a solid nodule (was complex until after FNA) on thyroid along with smaller cystic nodules. Do not have Hashimoto&#8217;s antibodies. Have had an enlarged inguinal lymph &#8211; right side &#8211; for over 1 year, and for at least a week, enlarged lymph node right side &#8211; above voice box and under tongue.<br />
There are some from 3 months ago listed for comparison reasons. </p>

<p>There is a high incident of cancer in my family.<br />
Father&#8217;s side:<br />
My grandfather and 4 of his brothers had cancer.<br />
GF &#8211; prostate, Gr.Unc.1 &#8211; Thyroid, GU2 &#8211; bladder, GU3 &#8211; prostate<br />
Reason to believe Great Grandfather had cancer as well. He committed suicied in 1928 due to &#8220;health reasons&#8221;<br />
Cousin &#8211; recently passed away from an aggressive leukimia<br />
Mother&#8217;s side:<br />
Mother has CLL, also a breast cancer survivor, Great Grandmother &#8211; stomach cancer.<br />
Would appreciate any insight into all this.<br />
I tried answering the responses, and this is the only way I found to do it. Don&#8217;t know the ages of diagnosis, other than my mother. Both CLL and Breast Cancer were under 50 years old. I mention lymphoma because of the thyroid nodule. According to the National Cancer Society &#8211; because we have a family member that had a thyroid cancer, and because my father also has a multi-nodular goiter &#8211; I am at an increased risk of developing thyroid lymphoma. If the nodes don&#8217;t go down by the time I see my neuro for follow up &#8211; I will ask about biopsy. From what I understand, that is the only true way to test for lymphoma. I will be getting tested this coming Monday &#8211; EMG, QSRT, Tilt table and skin biopsies (looking for nerve damage). My sister also has a low BP problem, and mine has been like this for a few years &#8211; regardless of my fluid and salt intake. That is in part why the neuro tests.<br />
Auto-immune disorders also run high on dad&#8217;s side, including me &#8211; I have morphea scleroderma.<br />
Thank you!</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Hi,</p>
<p>The high B12 is barely high, if you are taking multivitamins this could cause this. </p>
<p>Almost all of your labs are normal, your monocyte % and absolute are a bit high, this can be from a number of reasons. The fact that you have multiple enlarged lymph nodes, you may want to ask your primary physician about getting these possibly biopsied to rule out any malignancies. I have included a website that I recommend to everyone and use it when I need to do quick research at work. </p>
<p>Hope this helps.<br />

<p><b>Q: </b>Could this be prostate cancer or testicular cancer?<br />My boyfriend is 32 and has been having a burning sensation(not too severe) when he urinates and ejaculates. He says his penis always fills full but it obviously isn&#8217;t as he has been emptying it. His urine has been coming out at about between 100-400mls each time, which i am not sure is normal. When we have sex, he says his penis feels sore and his insides feel like they are being crushed with pressure&#8230; he says his orgasm is very intense and not a lot of sperm is coming out. He thinks he has cancer&#8230; anyone else had symptoms like this??? We have a docs appointment on monday for him. Isn&#8217;t a UTI in men very very rare???? It&#8217;s not an STD. Also, his testes are a little bit sensitive.</p>
<p>Thank you</p>
<p><b>A: </b>He almost certainly has a urinary tract infection. Contrary to what you think, these are very common in guys, especially in during childhood and puberty. The infection is often not even noticed and usually clears up on its own without treatment after 4 or 5 days. The most common way of getting a UTI is the same as it is with women &#8230; with bacteria transferred from the butt on toilet paper, or from fingers that have been in contact with the anus. As bacteria are becoming more and more resistant to anti-biotics, doctors are reluctant to prescribe them for minor ailments, so your boyfriend will probably be told to leave the infection to clear up on its own and drink plenty of water. Drinking cranberry juice is often recommended to help kill off the infection.</p>

<p><b>Q: </b>Will Provenge be approved on or before May 15 by the FDA?<br />Provenge, manufactured by Dendreon Corporation, is a new treatment for prostate cancer. It is the first drug/treatment that is considered a vaccine. Instead of killing cells (bad AND good) like chemo, it actually augments the immune system by training white &#8216;killer t-cells&#8217; to attack the cancer. In clinical trials Provenge tripled the chances of a man surviving past 3 years. It also had a median survival advantage of 4.5 months for men whose average life expectancy at this late stage of prostate cancer is approximately 22 months. Side effects are only flu-like symptoms that last for 2-3 days.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>I haven&#8217;t heard anything in over a month. I do know it&#8217;s on the fast-track (which can be good and bad) and is in review to begin promotion. Promotion approval means it will be approved very soon.</p>

<p><b>Q: </b>Painful urination with other symptoms?<br />My symptoms are, painful urination and usually pain with ejaculation, alot of hestancy with weak stream when urinating, the pain usually seems to always be an irratating feeling most of the time. Kind of feels like its in the uretha and other times maybe the prostate area&#8230;.</p>
<p>Now with that said, the tests that I have done&#8230; IPV, prostate exam a few times with 2 different doctors, several urinalysis&#8217;s from 2 different doctors, clean every time.<br />
Prostate exam was considered normal both times, PSA test that was around 5.5 also normal.<br />
I have seen two different Urologists, both had no clue&#8230;..!<br />
All tests for STD&#8217;s all came back negative&#8230;. I have taken several rounds of antibotics that were prescribed, such as Levaquin, Cipro, Floaxin,&#8230;. I have also drank lots of water and cranberry juice&#8230;. </p>
<p>These symptoms are getting the best of me and Im pretty frustrated with trying to find out what the problem is. Anyone have any ideas&#8230;</p>
<p><b>A: </b>it may be stones in the uretha..<br />
bladder infection<br />
or something they havent found</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Should the government be funding porn to prevent prostate cancer?<br />Studies show that ejaculation 3x a week help reduce prostate cancer by 15%. In fact, according to Australian studies, the more a man ejaculates between age 20 and 50, the lower his risk for prostate cancer will be.</p>
<p>Since we cannot assume every guy out there has a wife/girlfriend/husband/boyfriend willing to have sex 3x a week, nor can we assume that every guy has the funds to pay for his own porn in order to masturbate (we don&#8217;t want the poor to suffer needlessly), I propose that government should provide free or low cost porn in the quest to prevent prostate cancer. Heck, they pay for everything else.</p>
<p>Your thoughts?</p>
<p>http://www.psa-rising.com/med/prevention/ejaculation72003.shtml</p>
<p>I&#8217;m sure this will be reported, but since I used all medical terms, shouldn&#8217;t we take this as a serious discussion of cancer and not just of smutty sex?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>The loony Liberals already are funding porn. You didn&#8217;t really think they would miss an opportunity to spread perverted gay animal sex. Please!</p>
<p>&#8220;The NEA was given $80 million of the government&#8217;s $787 billion economic stimulus bill to spread around to needy artists nationwide, and most of the money is being spent to help preserve jobs in museums, orchestras, theaters and dance troupes that have been hit hard by the recession.</p>
<p>But some of the NEA&#8217;s grants are spicing up more than the economy. A few of their more risque choices have some taxpayer advocates hot under the collar, including a $50,000 infusion for the Frameline film house, which recently screened Thundercrack, &#8220;the world&#8217;s only underground kinky art porno horror film, complete with four men, three women and a gorilla.&#8221; </p>
<p>http://conservativexpress.blogspot.com/2009/07/outrage-stimulus-bill-funding-porn.html</p>
<p>A Gorilla! Come on Liberals! Do we really need to do that? A Gorilla!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For more information about: <a href="http://www.checktheprostate.com/get-to-know-prostate-cancer/prostate-cancer-symptoms.html">prostate symptoms</a> visit the prostate cancer site <a href="http://www.checktheprostate.com/">CheckTheProstate.com</a> today.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>What are the symptoms of a swollen prostate glad?<br />PS: Yes, I know what a prostate glad is. I know what it does. I need to know what the symptoms are if it&#8217;s swollen. Thanks.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Prostatitis, when the prostate becomes inflamed or enlarged, is often the result of an infectious agent. Syptoms include pain in the pelvic area or base of the penis, lower abdominal ache, backache, aching testes, the urgent need to urinate frequently, a burning sensation while urinating, a cloudy discharge from the penis, and difficulties with sexual functions, such as painful erections or ejaculations and reduced sexual interest. If you experiencing any of these symptoms you should definitely see a doctor, and they can treat it with antibiotics.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s also normal for men as they get older, for their prostate gland to increase in size. This is know as benign prostatic hyperplasia. If you&#8217;re between the ages of 50 and 70 this might be what&#8217;s going on. If you&#8217;re still pretty young you should go see your doctor.</p>
<p>Hope this helps!</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Is it normal for prostate infection symptoms to come and go? Like one good day and one bad?<br />
When i&#8217;m all out working, such as dragging heavy limbs and pulling heavy ropes, bending over picking up firewood, would this agrevate my condition? Main symptom is I have the urgency to pee. On cipro 500 mg twice a day for about 4 days now. when i&#8217;m working hard it seems to bring on the symptoms.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>no it is not normal. either it is an infection or it isn&#8217;t. have him checked at a doctor.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>I have symptoms of prostate problems, but I am only 33, should I be concerned?<br />I have had these symptoms for a cpl yrs now, I have frequent urge to urinate, I have a very weak flow, when I try to pee in the toilet it is difficult, cause I cant control my stream, plus it will get slow then speed up.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>See a Urologist for evaluation.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Symptoms after routine prostate rectal exam?<br />Just had my third annual routine prostate rectal exam but noticed two symptoms afterward. The next day, I had to urinate over a dozen times (I generally average 4 times a day). I have also been experiencing difficulties maintaining an erection, which has never happened to me before. The doctor found no problems in my exam at all. I haven&#8217;t informed him about these post-exam symptoms as yet. I&#8217;m just afraid that he&#8217;ll balk at my claims because he might fear a lawsuit (I wouldn&#8217;t sue him anyway).</p>
<p>Anyone ever have similar experience or know why this is happening? I&#8217;m guessing that the doctor bruised the prostate and urethra tissue during the exam, which may take a while to heal. Sound reasonable?<br />
Went to a walk in clinic. They found blood in the urine sample. Infected bladder caused this. Thanks to all for your comments.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>I&#8217;m not so sure that your hypothetical explanation does sound reasonable. Maybe, but maybe not. Why would bruising, if it occurred at all, cause more frequent urination?</p>
<p>I think you should call your doctor NOW about this. You&#8217;re afraid he&#8217;ll &#8220;balk at (your) claims&#8221;? What??? You&#8217;re not making a claim, you are just describing symptoms.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>What is benign prostate hypertrophy and what are the symptoms?<br />What are the available treatments for BPH</p>
<p><b>A: </b>It&#8217;s when the prostate enlarges, it happens to 80% of men and increases in likelihood with increasing age. symptoms include discomfort in the local region, abdominal pain. but the pain thing is you urinate slower and the urine stream appears to be weaker than normal.</p>
<p>main treatments are alpha blockers and 5α-reductase inhibitors. both can be precribed by your doctor. in the mean time, you can decrease the discomfort by drinking less fluids before bed time and a urinating schedule (so you don&#8217;t build up the urine too much as it can cause discomfort)</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Are the blood and protein in Pee and pain the symptoms of enlarge Prostate?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>More like a kidney infection. In any case, get to the doctor</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>what is the international prostate symptoms score?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>A score ranging from 1-35, indicating the degree of interference of the prostate with normal urinary functioning. There are 7 questions, with scores of 0-5 on each question. See a calculator below:</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>If I have a prostate infection, how much longer will I have the symptoms for?<br />I&#8217;ve been taking one 500 mg pill of levaquin a day since Tuesday. How much longer will I need to urinate frequently and have leaking? I hve to take the medicine for 3 weeks.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>You should ask your doctor that question.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>My prostate is ore and swollen but I have no other symptoms. What could be the problem?<br />I have no pain or problem when urinating. It is uncomfortable to sit for too long and it also bothers me to walk. Could it be from too much sex?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Sounds to me like you have an infection of some kind&#8230;&#8230;I would say the best thing to do is goto a doctor and have it checked&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;</p>
<p>I would also say you can&#8217;t have tooo much sex&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.unless maybe you are making it sore my rubbing it too much?????</p>
<p>Good Luck and Take Care&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>How can I tell if my Prostate Gland is Swollen, what are the Symptoms?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Difficulty urinating,abdominal (pelvic) discomfort. see the doc. Don&#8217;t wait.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>What are the symptoms of an enlarged prostate?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Aside from peeing a lot, and dripping, or leaking, an enlarged prostate can usually be felt as a fullness or uncomfortable feeling just back behind your anus. It can be enlarged due to infection, and if you are suddenly having problems, go to a urologist and get it checked. An infected one is easy to treat, but takes a regimen of antibiotics.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>What are the symptoms of a shrunken male prostate?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>not sure but if you have a concern you MUST visit your doc. This kind of stuff is very imnportant!</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Prostate symptoms or STD?<br />I&#8217;ve had serious pain in my prostate area for almost three months now. Sometimes it&#8217;s pretty centralized in my groin area, and other times it feels like it has moved down into my inner thigh area. This started not too long after I had a pretty serious urinary tract infection. Other than the &#8220;prostate&#8221; pain, I also have &#8220;hot flashes&#8221; in my pubic region. Feels like I&#8217;m sweating, but there&#8217;s no moisture. Also, there is sometimes a prickly feeling in or around my urethra! There is no discharge that I can tell. Good grief!!!</p>
<p>I went to my physician. My prostate is enlarged (3 on a 10 scale). He said it sounded like a prostate infection, and prescribed antibiotics. I&#8217;ve taken three weeks worth of doxycycline and two weeks of cipro. It hasn&#8217;t made much if any difference.</p>
<p>The &#8220;prostate&#8221; pain is much worse if I do a lot of sitting. If I&#8217;m up moving around a lot or lying down, the pain lessens after a while (like by the next day). </p>
<p>My partner (f) got an STD screen and was negative. Now what?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Go back to the doctors and ask him to refer you to a urologist</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Do you have a enlarging prostate that is causing your urinary symptoms?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>&#8230;&#8230;How did you know?<br />
That&#8217;s supposed to be CONFIDENTAL</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>What are the symptoms Ectopic pregnancy, prostate disease, osteoporosis, scoliosis, and mulitple sclerosi?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>I&#8217;m not sure, but I believe that question is a symptom of hypocondriasis &#8211; especially considering the combination of prostate disease and ectopic pregnancy!</p>
<p>WebMD is probably the last place you should go&#8230;.</p>

<p><b>Q: </b>do prostate massages really work?<br />ive been hearing alot of news and fact on the &#8220;prostate massage.&#8221; like i know there are some people out there who like anal sex/play, is that why? can u really climax from it?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Yes as a matter of fact it does work. If you climax while your prostate is being stimulated the orgasm is much more intense.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Does going #2 feel good to guys because it massages the prostate?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>That&#8217;s not the same kind of feeling, not the direct attention of a prostate massage that feels good&#8211;at least not in that way.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Are there any wives out there who give their husbands prostate massages?<br />Enquiring minds want to know. My blood tests came back with my PSA (prostate specific antigen) being a little high and I asked my wife for a massage to help and she refused.<br />
I should say wives, mistresses, craigslist randoms, basically anything female and hot.<br />
This is for medical reasons only <img src='http://arborsurgical.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> <br />
Bodhi, although my PSA was slightly high the free PSA % was low, so the doctor didn&#8217;t think it was a big issue. But the PSA itself had gone up since my last test so just keeping a closer eye on it. Or female finger.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Doesn&#8217;t she know that&#8217;s what they make finger condoms for?</p>
<p>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finger_cot</p>
<p>P.S. I would not put my finger up my husband&#8217;s anus. I might do it for someone else, though.</p>
<p>*edit*<br />
Sorry, fixed the link.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Can Prostate massages casue rectal cancer?<br />Someone told me intercourse there CAN but does massaging?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>some cancers are caused by an irritation which is a direct result of sperm penetrating the anal lining. others are caused by the HPV virus</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>what is best way to drain prostate or help prostate in another way?<br />I&#8217;m 22 and for some strange reason my prostate is always filled with too much fluid (chronic prostatitis) Doing prostate massages (with my finger or a drumstick) helps greatly but my prostate is still overloaded with fluid. I think there are some sex toy things that are good for prostate massages does anyone know the best one? any other thoughts about how I could improve my prostate? oh and I also have been washing the area with water</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Meda is your best bet for BPH benign prostate hypertrophy that can lead to cancer and the only treatments are chemotherapy or a prostatectomy that most often leads to impotence.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Are prostate Massages dangerous if your carful?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Not at all if you&#8217;re careful <img src='http://arborsurgical.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><b>Q: </b>are prostate massages illegal?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Only if you ask the fun police.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>I want to try a prostate massage, but I have a little problem.?<br />Prostate massages are done the best with bare fingers.. But just the idea of my fingers smelling like fecal matter disturbs me&#8230; Does washing your hands get all the germs off? And will the smell go away? Is there any way to make it sanitary?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Please learn how to milking prostate massage.</p>
<p>http://www.bodyplayclub.com/how-to/37-men/55-how-to-milk-the-male-g-spot.html</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Is it possible to control an orgasm whilst having your prostate massaged ?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>No way:when it is about to arrive there is no more holding back:you will explode.<br />
Colors</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Why would a doctor or a nurse need to preform a prostate massage on a patient?<br />I thought it was a joke at first.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Prostate massage is sometimes carried out as a medical procedure for the treatment of chronic prostatitis and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), although it is highly inadvisable for patients with acute prostatitis, for whom the infection can spread elsewhere in the body if massage is performed.</p>
<p>Done internally either by lubricated finger(s), a prostate massager or other medical instrument, prostate massage may result in orgasm without any genital stimulation. It can also be indirectly massaged externally through the perineum, although this may not be effective in the removal of fluid.</p>
<p>No more pressure should be used than for rubbing an eyeball. The procedure is initially undertaken gently using the index finger and a latex glove by massaging the lobes on either side of the prostate, taking care not to rub vigorously on the nerves in the middle.</p>
<p>If the prostate is full and stimulated sexually in some cases it may consciously and voluntarily be contracted, thereby emptying itself in the same way as during ejaculation but with none of the surrounding organs stimulated, without actually squeezing it digitally.</p>
<p>Electroejaculation is a procedure in which nerves are stimulated via an electric probe, which is inserted into the rectum adjacent to the prostate. It is most commonly encountered in animal husbandry for the purpose of collecting samples for testing or breeding. Prostate milking is also encountered as part of sexual activities, particularly involving the use of sexual denial.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>what is a prostate massage how does it work what is a prostate cratle?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>a prostate massage is the act of massaging the prostate. most men would love it if it wasn&#8217;t for it being located in the anus.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Where can I get a good prostate massage?<br />In Sydney?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Now here&#8217;s a problem. You make it sound like such a thing is possible.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>do men really have stronger orgasms by having their prostate massaged?<br />i am a straight male been married for eight years and my wife wants to try it but i don&#8217;t feel comfortable having something in my anus</p>
<p><b>A: </b>if u massage the prostate.. it will make him cum without an orgasm</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Erection problems after prostate massage?<br />My husband had his prostate massaged or milked for medical reasons.</p>
<p>Afterwards that evening he was unable to even start to get an erection, despite have a very high sex drive.</p>
<p>This has happened each time, twice now.<br />
Thanks lamar, he thought it numbed him down there.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>The massage does release a great deal of seminal fluid but leaves the guy unfulfilled sexually. It is like the feeling that one has after an orgasm but without the forceful ejaculation. You feel a high level of excitement and can feel the seminal fluid pouring out of the penis yet you don&#8217;t feel sexual relief due to lack of orgasm. Your husband should just wait until the morning after the massage see if an erection works better then. They don&#8217;t actually numb it but I suspect it is the high level of stimulation that overwhelms his body during the procedure that prevents his erection.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>What in the world is a prostate massage..Why dont I know about it?<br />Is anyone familiar with this?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Sounds like some homo-digital-anal thing.<br />
I&#8217;ll pass on that.</p>

<p><b>Q: </b>Testicular cancer at 30 years old?<br />My husbands only 30, and started having some terrible symptoms. Trouble peeing, hurt to pee, then he started having pains in his groin and now one of his testicles is starting to swell &#8211; We went to the doctor 2 days ago, to have a prostate check done, but the doctor didn&#8217;t come near him &#8211; He said it was way too early for anything to be wrong with his prostate because he&#8217;s only 30&#8230; He did however order an ultrasound on his testicles and his prostate just in case and did a blood test for some PS level. We haven&#8217;t gotten any results back yet, but we wanted to hear from others who have had symptoms like these to see if we could rule out some of the scarier conclusions. What are the main symptoms of testicular cancer?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>First, it doesn&#8217;t sound like testicular cancer. HOWEVER, it is not too early for him. My son-in-law is 26 and was diagnosed with it. He had one testicle removed early, so the prognosis is excellent. But he has to have 4 checkups a year now for 3 years. Actually, from research we&#8217;ve done, early 20&#8217;s is very common. I think you can relax, as others a have said, it sound more like an infection. But I am no doctor, but I do know 30 is not too young, so make sure he gets it checked.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>What is they best way to prevent colon and prostate cancer ?<br />My boyfriend is 33 and he is concerned with getting cancer because one of his co-workers recently died from colon cancer and he was only 30 years old!!!</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Fish oils help prevent prostate cancer<br />
BETHESDA, MARYLAND. Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) is a major component of flax seed oil and has been associated with significant cardiovascular benefits. Some studies, however, have shown that a high intake of ALA is associated with an increased risk of prostate cancer. A prestigious team of researchers from the National Cancer Institute, the Harvard Medical School, the Harvard School of Public Health, and the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm has just released the results of a study aimed at settling the controversy as to whether or not ALA is detrimental when it comes to prostate cancer. The researchers also determined the effect of other fatty acids, including fish oils, on prostate cancer risk. </p>
<p>******</p>
<p>Please NOTE****</p>
<p> The evidence is now indeed overwhelming that selenium helps protect against prostate cancer. While this study concluded that the protection mainly involves slowing down tumor progression, other studies have shown that selenium also helps prevent initiation of the cancer. Thus daily supplementation with 200 micrograms of selenium should be an integral part of all supplementation programs for men.</p>
<p>Each year some 40,000 American men die of prostate cancer because the disease is not detected early enough. In its most treatable stages, prostate cancer usually has no symptoms, which means regular screening is absolutely crucial. Below, Doctor Daniel Shasha, an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Doctor Robert Salant, an Associate Professor of Urology at the NYU School of Medicine, offer some information about the importance of prostate cancer screening and the common fears that surround it. This information could truly save your life.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>What are the symptoms of testicular cancer, and can a 30 year old get it?<br />My husbands only 30, and started having some terrible symptoms.
<p><b>A: </b>As rightly told by your doctor it is too early to tell anything and unless all tests are done it is difficult to evaluate the positon. I suggest you to wait for some more time till the results of ultrasound comes and anything confirmed by your doctor. The nature of any palpated lump in the scrotum is evaluated by scrotal ultrasound, which can determine exact location, size, and some characteristics of the lump, such as cystic vs solid, uniform vs heterogeneous, sharply circumscribed or poorly defined.</p>
<p>Malignant tumour of the testis, or testicle. Although relatively rare, testicular cancer is the most common malignancy for men between the ages of 20 and 34. It typically affects men between 15 and 39 years old. A developmental abnormality of males in which one or both testes fail to descend into the scrotum about the time of birth increases the risk of developing the cancer later in life. The most notable symptom of testicular cancer is the formation of a painless lump in either testis.</p>
<p>However, I would like to give you the following Symptoms of testicular cancer for your information and ask your husband to watch for the same.-</p>
<p>-a lump in one testis or a hardening of one of the testicles<br />
-abnormal sensitivity (either numbness or pain)<br />
-loss of sexual activity<br />
-sexual withdrawal<br />
-build-up of fluid in the scrotum<br />
-a dull ache in the lower abdomen or groin<br />
-lumbago<br />
-An increase, or significant decrease, in the size of one testis. The testicle with a tumor may be severely enlarged, as much as 3 times the original size. Simultaneously the other testicle may be shrunken in size, due to the tumor taking up the majority of the blood supply to the scrotum.<br />
-blood in semen<br />
-general weak and tired feeling </p>

<p><b>Q: </b>When should I start getting prostate screenings?<br />My grandfather, father, and so far 2 of 3 uncles (the 3rd is significantly younger) on my father&#8217;s side all developed prostate cancer. I&#8217;m no expert, but it seems to me that it isn&#8217;t really a question of if I&#8217;ll get it, but when. I am 30 years old, when should I start getting checked?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>If your that worried, you can have it checked now. mid 40&#8217;s is the norm I would say. But go do it now, so you wont worry so much</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Can a 12 year old kid drinks GREEN TEA?<br />7 Reasons to Drink Green Tea<br />
Posted Wed, Feb 20, 2008, 10:30 am PST<br />
POST A COMMENT »<br />
The steady stream of good news about green tea is getting so hard to ignore that even java junkies are beginning to sip mugs of the deceptively delicate brew. You&#8217;d think the daily dose of disease-fighting, inflammation-squelching antioxidants&#8211;long linked with heart protection&#8211;would be enough incentive, but wait, there&#8217;s more! Lots more.<br />
CUT YOUR CANCER RISK<br />
Several polyphenols &#8211; the potent antioxidants green tea&#8217;s famous for &#8211; seem to help keep cancer cells from gaining a foothold in the body, by discouraging their growth and then squelching the creation of new blood vessels that tumors need to thrive. Study after study has found that people who regularly drink green tea reduce their risk of breast, stomach, esophagus, colon, and/or prostate cancer.<br />
SOOTHE YOUR SKIN<br />
Got a cut, scrape, or bite, and a little leftover green tea? Soak a cotton pad in it. The tea is a natural antiseptic that relieves itching and swelling. Try it on inflamed breakouts and blemishes, sunburns, even puffy eyelids. And that&#8217;s not all. In the lab, green tea helps block sun-triggered skin cancer, whether you drink it or apply it directly to the skin &#8211; which is why you&#8217;re seeing green tea in more and more sunscreens and moisturizers.<br />
STEADY YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE<br />
Having healthy blood pressure &#8211; meaning below 120/80 &#8211; is one thing. Keeping it that way is quite another. But people who sip just half a cup a day are almost 50 percent less likely to wind up with hypertension than non-drinkers. Credit goes to the polyphenols again (especially one known as ECGC). They help keep blood vessels from contracting and raising blood pressure.<br />
PROTECT YOUR MEMORY, OR YOUR MOM&#8217;S<br />
Green tea may also keep the brain from turning fuzzy. Getting-up-there adults who drink at least two cups a day are half as likely to develop cognitive problems as those who drink less. Why? It appears that the tea&#8217;s big dose of antioxidants fights the free-radical damage to brain nerves seen in Alzheimer&#8217;s and Parkinson&#8217;s.<br />
STAY YOUNG<br />
The younger and healthier your arteries are, the younger and healthier you are. So fight plaque build-up in your blood vessels, which ups the risk of heart disease and stroke, adds years to your biological age (or RealAge), and saps your energy too. How much green tea does this vital job take? About 10 ounces a day, which also deters your body from absorbing artery-clogging fat and cholesterol.<br />
LOSE WEIGHT<br />
Oh yeah, one more thing. Turns out that green tea speeds up your body&#8217;s calorie-burning process. In the every-little-bit-counts department, this is good news!<br />
I got this article from Yahoo Health or some category of Yahoos! I recently can&#8217;t remember it&#8230;&#8230;<br />
Can a 12 year old kid drinks GREEN TEA? ???????<br />
means rarely??<br />
please tell me how often????<br />
THANK YOU VERY MUCH, RABIA <img src='http://arborsurgical.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> <br />
actually i am12 &#038; was very curious after reading this article&#8230;&#8230;.but then i thought it can be injurious to me!<br />
actually i still did not get what i want to&#8230;..</p>
<p>CAN A 12 YR KID DRINKS GREEN TEA? ???? IF SO, THEN HOW MANY TIMES A DAY, WEEK?? ????</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Good for you! Of course you can. Thanks for the long article.</p>
<p>But, it does have caffeine. Too much might keep you awake and make you jittery. Don&#8217;t over do it. Cup for cup, not near as much as coffee. </p>
<p>You&#8217;re right about it becoming sorta pervasive. I just saw two urns of it in the local DQ!</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Whats wrong with my husband, could it be prostate? MEN PLEASE HELP ME?<br />My husband got Hodgekins lymphoma cancer in 2001 at age 22. He&#8217;s been cleared of cancer since 2003, which caused a very low sperm count. NOW he had Diverticulitis in february, and everytime he poops, or moves he gets this &#8220;pop&#8221; feeling in his lower left pelvis area, and his balls start feeling uncomfortable&#8230;Sometimes when we have sex, the balls kinda suck up into the pelvic area after he orgasims. He DOES NOT have a hard time getting hard, or staying hard at all&#8230;my husband member size is 6 diameter, and 7.5 length..I have a feeling it can be a prostate issue, does anyone know what is wrong, or is this a prostate thing? PLEASE HELP&#8230;Drs say that nothings wrong&#8230;Anything can help me right now&#8230;We are also trying to have a baby&#8230;. He&#8217;s now 30 years old, turned 30 may 7th&#8230;im 21&#8230;22 in october&#8230;</p>
<p><b>A: </b>I have never had a pop with prostitis. I have had chronic prostate problems since an injury to the penis and testicle that i lost in 84. The sucking up of the testicles is normal in sex. I really can&#8217;t give you anything else but to say that with prostate trouble you will get abdomen pain with pain in the testicles like a dull ache, and between the legs, with back pain. Its like flu symptoms. sometimes im laid up in bed for a week or more. Sorry i couldn&#8217;t be of more help. Good Luck! Steve</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Bladder Cancer&#8230; Has anyone gone through this??<br />My father has been diagnosised with High Grade Invasive Bladder Cancer which has penitrated the muscle and spread to the Prostate. I know for sure that it has affected one of the Large Lymph Nodes in the surrounding area.<br />
I&#8217;m not certain of the Stage at this time. The surgeon has said that it could be a high 2-3 or 4&#8230;<br />
They did not do any radical surgery or cutting, as they did everything microscopic through his genitals. They removed part of the tumor from his bladder but were unable to get it all.<br />
He has a stint attatched to the Kidney with a tube that runs to the Bladder which also has a stint attatched, this way he is able to urinate with ease.<br />
The tumor inside the bladder is so large that it was blocking the flow of urine.<br />
He is undergoing Radiation 5 days a week at 15 minutes a session.. he will have 30 treatments.<br />
They do not recommend Chemo, as they feel he would not be able to withstand it&#8217;s effects.<br />
He is 88 years old and has been in perfect health.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>I have not gone through this myself, but it is my job to report and stage cancer. If the tumor invades the prostate and there is a positive node then it is a stage 4. I’m not exactly sure what your question is, but I hope this helps.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>do you think green day should give it up?<br />Isnt he like over 30 and still dressing up like a 15 year old queen? i mean i was into his old stuff but lately his new stuff blows hard. punk rock stops becoming cool when the leader gets married has kids and has to start worrying about prostate cancer. simular arist are bad religion and the sex pistols. only differance is their music is still good. what do you think?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Yes, in fact they should have never started. Give it up Already!!!</p>
<p>To be honest here, bad religion and the sex pistols also suck that I will never consider bands like this punk, maybe mainstream punk but not the real stuff, no where close</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Do I have pretty good chances to live a long time?<br />I&#8217;m going through a crisis right now in my life concerning getting older and dieing. But I was just wondering if I have good chances to live until I am very old. I know there is no way of knowing, but generally.</p>
<p>I am only 16, so I have only lived to see the deaths of one family member, and that was my great grandfather who was 95, his wife died at 81.</p>
<p>All my grand parents are still alive, all of them are in their 70&#8217;s.</p>
<p>No one has died from cancer or another diseases that I know of. The only person that has had cancer is my grandfather, who got prostate cancer 20 years ago, but is now fine. But my other grandma had a brain tumor about 30 years ago, but again she is also fine now it is not a concern.<br />
Oh, and I don&#8217;t smoke or drink. And I am not overweight.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Ryan, your chances are good genetically .. all your family lived to old age&#8230; I know you have a severe anxiety issue that&#8217;s why you are obsessed with dying.. but you got good chances to live long according to your genes&#8230; your granddad recovered from the prostate cancer&#8230;.and both are still alive.. that&#8217;s great&#8230;. xxx you do need to see the doctor though about your anxiety.. I told you before that is a problem with you.. they can help you..</p>

<p><b>Q: </b>My husband had prostate cancer can we still have a baby?<br />I have been trying to concieve since September We recently found out that my husband had prostate cancer they said he had it for 6 to 8 months before it was detected . He got the surgery and everything looks good . I am wondering if this has affected his sperm .</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Prostate cancer doesn&#8217;t usually affect fertility however, the treatment sometimes can. If it was just surgery, he should be okay. If you&#8217;re having trouble conceiving, make an appointment with a Urologist to get a work up for fertility. If he comes back normal, make an appointment for yourself to get checked out.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>my husband has prostate cancer and we have cancer insurance. are we going to have to pay taxes on this money?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>No. Absolutely not. Health insurance proceeds are not taxable income.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>he has prostate cancer but now after surgery he hova no cancer anymore. he can make baby?<br />i want to know if i will get pregnant, my husband had prostate cancer but he have no cancer anymore after he did operation.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>It depends. He needs to go to a uriologist and have a sperm count test done. There is a good chance he cannot reproduce.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>My husband has had skin cancer twice and also prostate cancer?<br />Is he more likely to get another kind of cancer, or is it all random? Both skin cancers were on his face, and he had his prostate removed. He&#8217;s 65, and in excellent shape. Thank you.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>LadyLynn &#8211; The simple answer is NO, BUT he is more likely to get one or more skin cancers of the type he just had. Most likely to repeat is the relatively benign basal cell cancer (carcinoma) which usually occurs on the sun-exposed skin of the head, such as the face and ears. He is not more likely to get another type of cancer internally. It would be good for him to make a visit to his dermatologist once a year to have a skin check for any new lesions,</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>my husband has agressive prostate cancer. he has one shot so far. he been getting pale everyday.?<br />he&#8217;s had two strokes and a heart attack since 2002.he is also on coumidin.radiation is questionable.what is the succuss rate on his cancer? thanks vert tired caretaker.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>If he has prostate cancer, he should have gotten that out a long time ago. but if your saying does he have it or what are the chances of it then i wouldnt know. Cancer is an uncontrollable dieseas. And you cant tell if you can get it or not.. Its all in the family genes.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>my husband is taking finasterine and keeps falling over has this happend to anyone?<br />my husband has prostate cancer the drug he is taking is finasterine he keeps falling over has headaches and dizzy spells has anyone else had this problem?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Consult with physician. and Keep him rehabilitation center.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>This question is for men that have had prostate cancer. What do you need the most from your wife?<br />My husband had prostate cancer and you know what that means as far as the bedroom scene. I just don&#8217;t know how to handle this. Do I keep trying and let him get frusterated, or kind of shrug it off when ever he trys in order to keep him from getting frusterated?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Don&#8217;t shrug it off. If he wants to keep trying then the best thing you can do is try along with him and assure him that you enjoy the closeness as much as the act itself.</p>
<p>I know I&#8217;m not a man with prostate cancer but my husband has had it and he appreciated the effort even when it became frustrating for him. Good luck and my prayers are with you both.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Hello, all- my husband had prostate cancer and had to have his prostate removed!?<br />He had his follow-up PSA test done this past week, but hasn&#8217;t seen the Dr. yet! We got the results of the test from the office, from the nurse, which were .007. Does anyone know what this indicates?? Please let me know!!<br />
Thanks for comments!!</p>
<p><b>A: </b>the psa enzyme is primarily manufactured in the prostrate and often as a consequence of cancer development. My psa is 9.6 and I am about to have radiation treatment.</p>
<p>Your husband&#8217;s psa reading seems excellent and an indication the cancer has been eliminated. Trust your doctor and write down all these type questions and ask the doctor to explain what he did and how that should solve the cancer problem.</p>
<p>Also go out and buy the book: &#8220;Prostrate and Cancer&#8221; by Dr. Sheldon Marks, M.D. It is the book the Norfolk Naval Hospital requires all prostrate cancer patients to buy and read before they will continue medical treatment. I bought mine on ebay. Buy the third edition. Prostrate treatment and medicine is a developing science.</p>
<p>Ken G</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>is it okay to cheat on my husband if he has prostate cancer?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Sounds to me like you&#8217;re just looking for an excuse. Whatever happened to &#8220;for better or worse?&#8221; &#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>how long does someone have to live if they have prostate cancer?<br />my husband has prostate cancer and wont get it fixed i was wondering how long he has to live</p>
<p><b>A: </b>There is no reason to die from prostate cancer. Your husband is fearful and/or selfish. Brachytherapy and radiation is the treatment I opted for. It was easy and relatively painless, and I am fully functional now. I expect to live for another 50 years. My treatment center: http://www.dattoli.com/</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>My husband is 48 years old, has enlarged prostate, tested negative for cancer, but now has blood in urine?<br />My husband now has blood in urine now and then, no pain, but noticed it a while back. Should he be concerned? His doctor is aware of his enlarged prostate but was negative for prostate cancer. I read that the blood in urine is a symptom of enlarged prostate &#8211; so should we be alarmed? or should he go see a urologist at this point? </p>
<p><b>A: </b>Blood in the urine can indicate a prostate problem or a bladder infection. The blood test for prostate cancer is by checking the PSA level. This is notoriously unreliable and can give both false positives and false negatives. At 48 your husband is statistically more susceptible to prostatic cancer, but it is by no means a certainty that he will get it.</p>
<p>Any unexplained bleeding, or internal bleeding should always be reported to the doctor for investigation. The doctor may suggest either a cystoscopy &#8211; where a small camera is inserted through the penis into the bladder to check for infection &#8211; or else a prostate biopsy to get a more reliable check for cancer.</p>
<p>If it is prostate cancer then the sooner it is diagnosed the sooner treatment can start and the better the chances of curing it.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>My husband has been receiving shots of Lupron every 4-6 weeks for prostate cancer. What is the purpose?<br />Lupron supposedly reduces his male hormones and will be going through radiation for 4-6 weeks daily.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>prostate cancer needs testrone to grow it is suppressing him male hormones good luck with his treatment</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>want to ask about prostate cancer?<br />My husband has prostate cancer. But he operating orchidectomy operation.daily he has taken Zyluta abd alfatmD tablet. so I am worried about his health in future. pl. help me</p>
<p><b>A: </b>So what are you asking?</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Couple dealing with prostate cancer?<br />my husband has prostate cancer for about a year now he is very affraid but will not talk about and will not let me help him. he will not let me go with him to the doctors office. i care for my husband very much and i love him very much i tell him all the time we have been married for 19 years now he tells me that he want a divorce and he says that we are seperated with out me even knowing but he still comes when he wants to so i may see him once out of a two week period he also says that he does not love me any more but i know he does he is very affraide and also confused ever since he was diagnose with his cancer he will not go for counseling at least not with me question is &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..how can i get my husband back to me.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Oh boy. Sounds like he&#8217;s having a mid life crisis as well.</p>
<p>Prostate cancer is far far from a death sentence. In fact most men will develop it in some form in their lives and most of them will never even have any symptoms.</p>
<p>You might also consider that this may not be the only health or other issue that he has. He may be hiding something else.</p>
<p>All you can do is try to open any possible lines of communication. Be very careful to not put any pressure on him in the process as he sounds like he&#8217;s at the breaking point already. In other words try hard to push your own needs and concerns aside. That&#8217;s going to be hard I know. Maybe try writing him a letter or email?</p>
<p>Good luck.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>My ex husband has been diagnosed w/ Prostate Cancer&#8230;..?<br />is he going to die?? The Dr. said his levels are low. What does that mean??</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Talk to the doctor to better understand the situation. Levels refer to PSA levels which are used to detect the presence of prostate cancer.</p>
<p>It all depends on the GRADE and aggressiveness of the type of cancer that he has. If it is extremely aggressive he may have months to live assuming treatment doesnt work and if it is quite slow then treatment may be extremely successful. Only his doctor can tell you the answer to these questions.</p>
<p>There are different types of cancer, they don&#8217;t all grow at the same rate and aggressiveness.</p>

<p><b>Q: </b>Can you get chlamydia from a self prostate massage?<br />
Im not sexually active so theres no way i could have got it from another person, i am just worried about the possibility of getting it from the bacteria on my hands</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Only, perhaps, if your fingers were touching the genitals of someone with chlamydia before they found their way to your prostate.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Self prostate milking..have I done it correctly?<br />I tried the procedure last night and was wondering if I had successfully managed to milk my prostate?<br />
I inserted a lubed finger into up my anus and massaged the lump that is the prostate (for some its a pea shape). I felt some pressure build where I massaging, it wasnt pleasant but neither unfomfortable. After a minute of rythmic massaging the prostate &#8211; my penis (which was half erect) ejaculated a few spurts of semen (?) &#8211; However it was different as I did not feel the feeling of an orgasm that i associated with ejaculation. It was very different, in that, I did not experience the orgasm in the brain. Did I successfully milk my prostate?<br />
thanks in advance</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Indeed :you did a good job:but next time masturbate at the same time too:then you get a booming climax.<br />
Colors</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>HELP I CANT POO!! what should i do?<br />Right, basically the other week i wanted to try a self-prostate massage since its getting quite popular now. I didn&#8217;t really feel any intense orgasm, or pain. It just felt weird&#8230;</p>
<p>But for the past week or so, i haven&#8217;t been able to poo, i just cant get it out! I have eaten loads and loads of food, but my stomach is enlarging and the poo wont come out! The last time i took a real poo was 8 days ago, which wasn&#8217;t normal at all.. it just came out in big farts and really runny diarrhea! Im starting to feel really ill now, and my anus is bleeding when i wipe it after trying to poo.</p>
<p>When i try and poo all that comes out is a very very small amount of diarrhea and whats more is that when im sitting down i feel as if im leaking water!</p>
<p>have i knocked something?</p>
<p>I&#8217;m too shy to tell anyone what I did, so i have come here in disguise to try and find some answers.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>You should see a DOCTOR asap.</p>

<p><b>Q: </b>I cant poop, at all&#8230; HELP PLEASE!!?<br />Right, basically the other week i wanted to try a self-prostate massage since its getting quite popular now. I didn&#8217;t really feel any intense orgasm, or pain. It just felt weird&#8230; </p>
Im starting to feel really ill now, and my anus is bleeding when i wipe it after trying to poo. </p>
<p>When i try and poo all that comes out is a very very small amount of diarrhea and whats more is that when im sitting down i feel as if im leaking water!</p>
<p>I&#8217;m too shy to tell anyone what I did, so i have come here in disguise to try and find some answers.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>hey man you need to get a tube up your butt and get it flushed out and get some fiber in you, you are bleeding because you are stretching your freckle and that will hurt. use a laxative, stool softener and keep your finger out of your butt. hope you wash before eating fruit.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Masturbation question?<br />how do i give my self a prostate massage and what should i use?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>&#8220;Secretly Hypnotize Anyone<br />
For Best &#8211; S_E_ X &#8211; Experience&#8221;<br />
&#8211;<br />
http://hyptl.notlong.com its working!</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Prosatate self-drainage and ED?<br />A year ago I got acute prostatitis, it was not so sever, but finally I it was healed up using antibiotic for less than a month. It was a result to gonorrhea.<br />
But still I have difficulty having that erection I used to have previously. Sometimes, my erection is very good; someothers really bad. I am single who has been musterbating 12 months ago regularily every other day.<br />
Now, is this an excessive musterbation??? May this cause me a weak erection, or it is back to prostate?????<br />
I heard about prostate seld massage, I did it few times but found nothing , in the sense that it does not hurt when massage , not swollen, and it secretes a white normal fluid .<br />
I am too much concerned about this problem. Could it be psychological.<br />
I checked with 6 doctors and they confirmed nothing wrong except a small mild hydrocele in my right testis. Could this affect??</p>
<p>I am 28 years old . Previously I had too many relation ships and was very strong sexually.</p>
<p>PLease advise </p>
<p>Thanx</p>
<p><b>A: </b>if once in a while, your erection is very good, that means there is nothing wrong with the equipment physically</p>
<p>so it is entirely psychological</p>
<p>and erection has nothing to do with prostate, you get erection when the blood fills the blood vessels, you may have problems of erection if you are overweight, have diabetes which can deposit fat in those blood vessels</p>
<p>when you have problems with the prostate, you will have problems of urinating.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>what sex toy would you recommend for me?<br />i have never been to a sex store, but i know one in town. i want to buy a sex toy for myself (i&#8217;m a guy).</p>
<p>i am straight, but i enjoy anal on myself, so i would preferably like an anal toy. would you recommend a small dildo for self penetration in my anus? or something like a prostate massage device? for a first timer, what kind/size would you recommend. my finger is the largest thing thats been in my anus, so i don&#8217;t want something too big. </p>
<p>also, i&#8217;m really embarrased to go into the store, but i really want something to spice up my masterbation.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Well, I suggest some sort of anal sex toy/kit. A good example of one is found here http://theirtoys.com/anal-pleasure-p-14853.html (Which is great for beginners). Since you are embarrassed to go into the store, just order online. You can take a look at the site I mentioned above as they have a lot more that you might be interested in that may suit what you are looking for and by ordering online, you don&#8217;t have to worry about being embarrassed. Hope that helps.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Are men designed to only be with women?<br />A man has a penis and a woman has a vagina.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s true, but why do you think it&#8217;s obvious that they were &#8220;only&#8221; intended to go together?</p>
<p>Can ONLY a man and a woman make a baby? NO<br />
Actually, a woman&#8217;s egg CAN be fertilized with genetic material from another woman&#8217;s egg. It&#8217;s called Parthenogenesis, and all of the science already exists.</p>
<p>here&#8217;s a link:<br />
http://lesbianlife.about.com/cs/families&#8230;<br />
(I back up my sources, you know I gots to protect my nerd cred)</p>
<p>Is it the most LOGICAL way to make a baby? well, there are scientific methods that are much more effective but, yes, it&#8217;s the most logical way to reproduce.</p>
<p>So that settles it right? because the only function of the genitals reproduction right? No.<br />
The genitals are also used for urination and sexual pleasure. Sexual pleasure is not the same as reproduction (especially if you&#8217;re doing it right. Am I right guys? *high five*)</p>
<p>Urination is self-explanatory, so what&#8217;s up with sexual pleasure?</p>
<p>The clitoris (which is a woman&#8217;s primary source of orgasm) is located ABOVE the vagina, it CAN be stimulated with vigorous sexual activity<br />
but that stimulation is not direct. If the couple is in the missionary position it is possible that the man&#8217;s body above the penis can give direct contact to the clitoris but that&#8217;s not the penis itself, and indeed the same results can be had with two women. The G-spot is located inside of the vagina but it is on the upper wall (it is actually stimulation of a woman&#8217;s urethra which is located above the vagina) so again the stimulation is not direct (and indeed many women report that vibrators and other toys designed for direct stimulation are much more pleasurable than a penis by itself, which makes sense when you consider that 90% of the nerve endings are in the outer third of the vagina, surgery can be performed without anesthetic on the inner two thirds here&#8217;s a link: http://health.discovery.com/centers/sex/&#8230;</p>
<p>On the other hand, a man has a prostate (a sexual organ which can be stimulated and lead to orgasm, matter of fact for you straight guys who are curious about how to stimulate it yourself here&#8217;s a link: http://www.prostate-massage-and-health.c&#8230;</p>
<p>you&#8217;re welcome, enjoy the other half of your sexuality, use it wisely)</p>
<p>A man&#8217;s prostate is located inside of his rectum at the exact place where a penis hits the wall of the rectum. The stimulation is direct. </p>
<p>What does this mean? It means that sexually, the penis seems more designed to bring sexual pleasure to another man than to a woman. I&#8217;m not trying to argue that penises and vaginas don&#8217;t go together, rather I&#8217;m saying that they serve other functions as well. It&#8217;s certainly debatable, it&#8217;s not OBVIOUS as many theists who argue against homosexuality would have you believe.</p>
<p>So why do they keep saying it?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>How can I even argue such ignorant statements?</p>
<p>Just because we have developed the science to procreate woman to woman through &#8220;Parthenogenesis&#8221; does not mean that women can &#8220;naturally procreate&#8221;.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s not about &#8220;logical&#8221; procreation, it&#8217;s about natural procreation. Try to procreate woman/woman or man/man without the test-tubes and experiments.</p>
<p>Just because guys have a rectum just like a woman, does not mean that the penis was intended to be put inside the rectum of the man OR the woman (even if a man does have a prostate). Research has shown on numerous accounts that anal intercourse (male or female) can be very dangerous and unhealthy.</p>
<p>Look, I&#8217;m not one of those who are against gay rights&#8230; but if you&#8217;re going to try to make a point about human sexuality by saying we&#8217;re not &#8220;designed&#8221; for heterosexual relations, then you need to start giving facts that don&#8217;t take such a stretch to accept.</p>
<p>I mean, seriously? Same gender procreation through science is your defense? Cloning can be done with only ONE person. Does that mean that we were all created to be asexual?</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>HELP i cant poo!!! What should i do?!??!?<br />Right, basically the other week i wanted to try a self-prostate massage since its getting quite popular now. I didn&#8217;t really feel any intense orgasm, or pain. It just felt weird&#8230;</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For more information about: <a href="http://www.checktheprostate.com/get-to-know-prostate-cancer/psa-dre-screening.html">psa dre</a> visit the prostate cancer site <a href="http://www.checktheprostate.com/">CheckTheProstate.com</a> today.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>A PSA of 1.2 and a free PSA of 18% with normal DRE is it warrant of prostate cancer?<br />initial symptom that send us to the doctor was hematospermia</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) is only one indication of prostate cancer. Usually the PSA is elevated (greater than 10) and a free PSA of 10% or less. Your results , combined with a &#8220;normal&#8221; DRE would tend to rule out Prostate cancer.<br />
In men over 40, hematospermia is rarely associated with cancer. (see second site below).<br />
What did your physician say?</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Male, 53.Prostate is enlarged.PSA is 1.75. Get blood in the semen. Doctor rules out prostate cancer. Why this?<br />I am 53. Since Oct 2004, I am getting blood in the semen. My prostate is enlarged. Not abnormal. DRE and Sonography do not suggest prostate cancer. PSA is 1.75. I was affected by some form of STD when I was 22. VDRL was1 in 10. Treated with penadur LA6. Why blood in semen? I am not diabetic nor do I suffer from Hypertension. Please advise me.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>The fact that you have blood in your semen and you do not have an active infection can be a sign of prostate cancer. You can still have prostate cancer even if your PSA is low. DRE and U/S are insensitive and ultimately the gold standard is biopsy.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>My PSA is 4.68 should I investigate further?<br />Since the protein specific antigen is only slightly elevated relative to my age, I realize that a number of things could contribute to my elevation!! It appears that the next step is the dreaded DRE!! On the fence about proceeding with other test!!</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Yes u should&#8230;. as you know the range is from 0 to 4 ng now even though u dont mention things like your age and the conditions under the test was done&#8230;. remember that a few things could affect the results&#8230; if u had a rectal exam prior to it, if u have an enlarged prostate due to your age, among others&#8230;. in any case is better to play it safe so i would recomend you to definetly look further&#8230; and if its everything ok u will feel definetly better!!!!<br />
Good Luck<br />
hope was helpulf.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Should I get a prostate biopsy?<br />I&#8217;m fifty years old. I started feeling pain in my groin and testicles two weeks ago and saw a urologist. A DRE was normal and my PSA was also normal (1.1). Urinalysis revealed no infections. By the time I saw the doctor, my pain symptoms had mostly subsided and he told me not to worry.</p>
<p>A few days later, my pain started again. For the past four days, I&#8217;m feeling aches at different times in my groin and upper thighs. I&#8217;m also feeling occasional pain in my penis and testicles. My urination frequency is slightly elevated.</p>
<p>The main reason I&#8217;m alarmed is because I&#8217;ve been feeling a lot of fatigue during the past month. My general practitioner diagnosed it as a probable sinus infection and prescribed two different antibiotcs, neither of which worked. I&#8217;m afraid my fatigue may be caused by possible prostate cancer, even though my tests were normal. I&#8217;m feeling a lot of stress. Is it advisable for me to ask my urologist to give me a prostate biopsy?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Pain of the penis, testicles, upper thigh and groin are not symptoms of prostate cancer. Symptoms are difficulty passing urine or emptying the bladder, dribbling after or before urinating, and a weak urinary flow. These are due to the enlarged prostate obstructing the urethra. See the urologist again about the possiblity of epididymitis, orchitis, testicular torsion, or testiclar hernia, all of which can cause the symptoms you describe, especially testicular hernia since you also have upper thigh pain &#8211; a frequent symptom for hernia.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>What does it mean? Could you please explain this result?<br />I am 31 years male.I had fever last month and so next day i went to see my doc. He ordered a urine test and they found small blood in urine dipstick test. In microscopic UA they found no wbc and RBC 0-2/HPF ( ref range 0-2/HPF). I was scared and i went to see an urologist. He did PSA and DRE test. PSA was 0.61 ng/mL and after DRE exam he told &#8221; your prostate looks good&#8221;. Then he did a bladder empty test and said &#8221; you are emptying your bladder completely&#8221;. Could you please let me know what above results mean?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>When it says &#8220;No wbc&#8221; that&#8217;s good. WBC means white blood cells. If you have white blood cells in your urine it usually indicates a urinary tract infection (UTI) White blood cells are leukocytes which fight infections, That&#8217;s their job. So by the looks of it, you don&#8217;t have a UTI or prostate cancer. Good results.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Why was he recommended for a biopsy?<br />My dad (55, no family history, healthy, normal weight, no previous problems) had the PSA and DRE tests, and the doctor said nothing about the PSA test to him.<br />
Does this mean its normal?</p>
<p>Also, the DRE test proved there to be a small bump on the surface of a regular feeling prostate. The physician referred my dad to a urologist, who said the same thing. The Urologist said there was a very small chance for there to be prostate cancer (He jokingly said something along the lines of 0.1%, which was an exaggeration obviously, and he didn&#8217;t seem worried at all), but he said my dad should be safe and have the biopsy.<br />
So of course my dad did that, and hes waiting on the results.<br />
Do you think this is prostate cancer? And with prostate cancer and today&#8217;s medicine, would you expect him to survive (if he has it, God forbid) to 75+ (basically i mean would be live an average life span).</p>
<p>Thanks y&#8217;all, and neither of us are worried.<br />
Both of you, thank you so much.<br />
I can&#8217;t pick a best answer this early for some reason hahaha but thank you</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Just be glad your father sounds like he has a very cautious team around him. They are sure it is not but requesting the biopsy is good sound medicine. The waiting for results is very very hard. They are starting to question the true validity of the PSA numbers.</p>
<p>I am praying for a quick test results and a negative response.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>What is the likelihood that&#8230;?<br />When a doctor sees his patient for the DRE and PSA, what are the chances&#8230;<br />
1. The urologist will tell the patient his psa level if he finds it concerning?<br />
2. That an abnormality in the prostate is dangerous for the patient (I mean a small lump)<br />
3. That when a urologist tells a patient that there is nothing much to worry about, he is lying?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Do you mean what is the likelihood and they still have a license to practice medicine?<br />
If you do not trust you doctor get another one or at least a second opinion.<br />
Doctors are obligated morally and legally to tell their patients the truth and they do. They spend a large portion of their lives to become a doctor and to maintain their license why would they risk all of that to lie to a patient?</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>What this is mean? Please help me to understand?<br />I am a 31 years male. Doc found blood in my urine in dipstick test. But in microscopic UA there was no blood. This is what doc did<br />
1. Asked me to go to rest room and pee. Added some jelly like substance on my belly and did some ULTRA SOUND like test and told me that &#8220;you have nicely empty your bladder&#8221;</p>
<p>2, Did a DRE and told me &#8220;your prostate looks good&#8221;</p>
<p>3. Then took blood for Kidney and PSA test. Within 20 mins lab gave me Kidney test result and it was normal. They said it will take some time to get PSA result ( may be days)</p>
<p>4. Also, doc ordered CT scan with contrast for abdomen and pelvis. I will do this next week.</p>
<p>Could you please explain me what above 4 tests and their result mean? I was reading prostrate cancer and i saw DRE and PSA are the test. But did not understand purpose CT scan test.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Ultrasound looked at bladder emptying, which was fine.<br />
Blood tests suggest your prostate is normal (along with exam/DRE) and kidney function is normal<br />
CT is likely to rule out kidney stones (common source of blood in urine).</p>
<p>Having a dipstick show &#8220;blood&#8221; but then none evident on micro exam can mean there is hemoglobin spilling in your urine for sa variety of reasons or could mean lab error or just a transient episode of blood in urine that resolved between dipstick and micro. Would suggest if nothing shows up on CT, that the micro and dipstick be repeated and if still not in sync, get referral to a primary doc to work this up further.</p>
<p>Blessings</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Frequent urination. Sensitivity to wine and tea. Dry &#038; thirsty in the morning.?<br />After one of many intense bike rides, I felt a burning sensation in my pelvic area and an excessive urge to urinate. I have experienced these symptoms after periods of vigorous exercise but they always subsided.<br />
(I also have an inguinal hernia that hasn&#8217;t been repaired.)<br />
This time, in addition to the burning sensation, I also experienced mild soreness around my hip. I also had a fever for one night only. A few times I experienced mild (kidney?) stones.<br />
I stopped riding the bike, started drinking cranberry juice, and saw palmetto/nettle.<br />
Since then, all symptoms have gone except for the more frequent than usual urination especially after drinking wine &#038;and possibly tea. I never had a problem with wine before.<br />
I also feel drier and more thirsty during or after the night.<br />
My GP ruled out diabetes and didn&#8217;t find a UTI, even though I was sure I had one. The prostate seemed fine after a DRE, and the PSA seems OK. I still get up several times at night to urinate. I am 50+.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Sounds like you have urge incontinence from an overactive bladder or previous bladder infection.. I had the same, and still have to wear protection. I visit a urologist often. There are meds for it now, but don&#8217;t want to take any more. I am careful not to drink certain fluids that don&#8217;t allow me to hold it when I get the desire to go. My PSA is about 6.5 and has been steady. I am 58. I had all the tests including biopsies.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Please explain this to me?<br />I am 31 yrs male. Went to do a urologist. Had little blood in dipstick test. Microscopic was 0-2 RBC/HPF ( ref 0-2/HPF). PSA was 0.61ng/ml. DRE:- 1+smooth symmentric prostate, little larger on right tahn left. There is a minimal asymetry</p>
<p><b>A: </b>It means everything was normal.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Concerns prior to scheduled Prostate Cancer Biopsy and I am hoping someone (perferrably a urologist) can?<br />assist me in making an informed decision. I am scheduled to have Prostate Cancer Biopsy on 05/24/07. Here is a brief history of events up till now:<br />
Vital statistics and hx are as follows: Age: 38; Sex: Male; Ht: 5&#8242; 5&#8243;; Wt: 162 lbs; Father: recently passed away at the age of 73 2ndry Prostate Cancer which got metastasized and as a result he had bone cancer as well; Mother: has diabetes and previously has had benign tumor removed; Older Brother: Healthy; Race: Asian-Indian.<br />
On 04/23/07 blood test done and the results indicated PSA level of 3.5, subsequent to this FreePSA test done on 05/04/07 and PSA level: 3.68. The normal range is 0-2.5. Based on some some chart scoring had a value of 8 indicative that I probably have a 24% chance of having prostate cancer. Visited Urologist on 05/16/07 and DRE was conducted and was normal. Should I wait 8 weeks and have another PSA test or go for Biopsy as suggested by the Urologist? Don&#8217;t want to be sliced &#038; diced but also want peace of mind!</p>
<p><b>A: </b>The above answer has the right conclusion, although all the facts are wrong.</p>
<p>While PCa at your age is rare, it&#8217;s hardly unknown. You have an significantly elevated risk due to the fact that your father had it.</p>
<p>PSA is not an indication of cancerous tissue, it&#8217;s produced by both normal and diseased prostate tissue. The absolute number turns out to be fairly meaningless, as &#8220;normal&#8221; could be anywhere from .5 to 8, mostly depending on the size of your prostate and general health. It&#8217;s best to have regular PSA tests, and to keep a chart of your results. A rapid increase in PSA is more concerning than a high absolute number. </p>
<p> Free PSA is the percent of PSA which isn&#8217;t attached to protein. If it&#8217;s very low, there is a higher chance that your PSA reading is caused by cancer. </p>
<p>A DRE can only detect cancer when it&#8217;s extensive enough to be palpable. In parts of Europe, adoption of PSA testing has been slower than in the US, and DRE is still a preferred detection technique. But DRE will miss cancer in it&#8217;s earliest, most treatable stage. In the US, the overwhelming majority of men are diagnosed with biopsy following abnormal PSA readings, and never reach the stage of having a positive DRE.</p>
<p>If I were in your place, I would take the biopsy. Although biopsy isn&#8217;t the most pleasant experience, it&#8217;s the only way to find peace of mind. If it&#8217;s negative, I would continue being vigilant, and have PSA tests every six months, charting the results. Given your family history, it pays not to take chances.</p>
<p>What you can expect from the biopsy is a few minutes of discomfort, followed by a month of bleeding. It&#8217;s not the worst thing that can happen to you.</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>Cystoscopy:-Need some help?<br />I am 31 yrs male and I had blood in my urine 0-2 RBC. No WBC. I did following tests by an urologist:-<br />
1. DRE<br />
Result:-Your prostate looks good, smooth<br />
2. PSA:-<br />
Result:-0.61<br />
3. CT IVP<br />
Result:-Doctor told me your CT IVP came back normal</p>
<p>I was more scared for prostate cancer..bladder cancer. I went to another urologist and he tol me you have done all the test except Cystoscopy. So, he did Cystoscopy and said he did not see anything wrong. Before the test i told doc i was more worried about prostate cancer but forgot to tell i was worried about bladder cancer too. (During the Cystoscopy test at one point he told me you need to hold your breath and that will open a space for him to insert the tube more inside.). So, not sure if during Cystoscopy he looked into my bladder or not? Could you please let me know if seeing baldder in Cystoscopy test is common or i need to say doc to look into my bladder before the test?</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Your doctor has gone to school for 12 years to learn how to diagnose people they know what tests to do. A cystoscopy is to look at the urinary system including the bladder. You’re only 31 with a PSA less than 1 with no symptoms of prostate cancer &#8211; why is this a concern?</p>
<p><b>Q: </b>I have an enlarged prostate&#8230;&#8230;.?<br />My doctor said that my prostate is large than normal. I had my blood tested for PSA ( prostate specific antigen) and showed a 6.5 ng/ml. The normal reading should be 4.0 ng/ml and below. I took antibiotic for 2 weeks to determine if the cause is bacteria or just inflammation. My blood was again tested and showed a reading of 5.5ng/ml. It goes down but still not normal. Again I took antibiotic for another 2 weeks and had my blood tested again and showed a reading of 5.75 ng/ml. I was tested for DRE ( digital rectal examination) and no lump was found. He then advised that to determine if the cause is just simple enlarged prostate and not cancerous, I will have to undergo biopsy.<br />
I checked the internet and found that some patient with similar problem as mine had infections and had a hard time urinating. What can you say? Should I undergo biopsy? Please to those who had previous experience. By the way I&#8217;m 59 yrs old.</p>
<p><b>A: </b>Nothing will work in ur case except operation</p>
