Q: what groin injuries can massage therapy help?
Have pain in the groin area, including testicle. Have had prostate etc already checked, All okay. Have heard of massage trigger points can eliminate some pain–true?
A: Trigger point massage is a great technique, but is unless you find an expert trigger point guy, a lot of the times limited to pain relief and will most of the times not help you solve your problem. How did the pain come on? Did you lift something heavy? Have you ever tested for a hernia?
Q: Help with chronic prostatitis, has anyone had success treating and cureing it with Antibiotics??
About to go on them and hear they don’t even work, what’s the scoop? Has anyone else successfully treated there’s through other means. Prostate massage? physical therapy? diet? What antibiotic were you prescribed to help treat it? What kind of physician do you recommend? Please help I’m too young for this I’m in my early 20’s.
A: do not massage the prostate as this can cause dissemination of the infection and make things harder to treat
antibiotics are a good way of treating prostatitis
however the prostate (like the lung and the kidney) is a tricky spot that the bacteria have many places to hide in, and their defences can often make it difficult to get control of the infection – hence the course of antibiotics is often a lot longer than you might expect for a simple urinary infection

A: When I was in my early 20’s I also had prostatitis. It was successfully treated with antibiotics, and I haven’t suffered with it any more. But, I am allergic to sulfa drugs…that was the first antibiotic the Dr. put me on, however after about 3 days of throwing up, he changed the prescription and I eventually got well.
Q: Another liberal talking point goes down in flames, agree?
I say liberal because the only people I know that touted these things were liberals I know.
Ten years ago the government set out to test herbal and other alternative health remedies to find the ones that work. After spending $2.5 billion, the disappointing answer seems to be that almost none of them do.
Echinacea for colds. Ginkgo biloba for memory. Glucosamine and chondroitin for arthritis. Black cohosh for menopausal hot flashes. Saw palmetto for prostate problems. Shark cartilage for cancer. All proved no better than dummy pills in big studies funded by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine. The lone exception: ginger capsules may help chemotherapy nausea.
As for therapies, acupuncture has been shown to help certain conditions, and yoga, massage, meditation and other relaxation methods may relieve symptoms like pain, anxiety and fatigue.

A: my friend, these among others…we could have so fun with this. i remember the ‘global cooling’ bringing on a new ice age, gas/oil reserves for only 20 years back in the seventies, the coffee scare, etc., etc., etc. i don’t have enough space or time to scribe all the misconceptions they follow like a religion.
